Terms of use.
These terms apply to the Deckleaf macOS app and this website. By using Deckleaf, you agree to use it lawfully and to keep appropriate backups of important content.
Effective August 3, 2026
License
Deckleaf grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app according to the purchase or download terms that apply to your copy. A Mac App Store copy is also subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement where applicable.
Your content
You retain ownership of notes and images you create or connect. You are responsible for having the rights to that content and for maintaining backups. Deckleaf does not claim ownership of it.
Optional third-party interoperability
Anki and AnkiConnect are separate third-party products governed by their own licenses and policies. Their availability and compatibility are outside Deckleaf’s control. Deckleaf is independent software and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Ankitects Pty Ltd.
Acceptable use
Do not use Deckleaf to violate law, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, or platform security. Do not attempt to misuse the app to distribute harmful code or interfere with other software or services.
Availability and changes
Features may change as Deckleaf improves. The app may not be uninterrupted or compatible with every note type, add-on, template, or future third-party release. Material changes to these terms will be posted with a revised effective date.
Disclaimer and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Deckleaf is provided “as is” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Deckleaf is not a substitute for backups, and the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits consumer rights that cannot be waived.
